In 2010 we found Mike on internet and asked him to serve as our real estate agent. We were relocating from McLean Virginia to West Chester/Chadds Ford area, and Mike spent a few weekends driving us around looking at a pretty extensive list of houses that we are interested in. His knowledge of the local housing market is very helpful. Given his previous experience as a builder, he also had a lot of unique inputs of various houses, including the built, different systems and various things that you need to pay attention to. He was also very patient and courteous, yet never dull. He was the perfect find: like an old friend who would provide all the useful information and guide you through the confusing process of buying the houses without pushing you into a direction that might not be in your best interest. We were able to find a property that fit our needs pretty soon, from one of the properties that Mike showed us.

In 2012 given our job situation changes, we were once again looking for a house to buy and this time in Northeast Philly area. Without second thought we contacted Mike and told him what we were looking for and once again he spent several weekends showing us properties. He had always been prompt, resourceful (in solving all kinds of problems) and insightful. Once we found the house we wanted, we were able to work together and strategize the bidding process. Eventually our offer was accepted with several back and forth and we were able to buy the house we wanted at a pretty fair level. Mike's representation, professional, firm and fair, was very well respected by all the parties throughout the negotiation process.

Mike has a pretty extensive network which could offer a lot of help. For example, in the last minute my wife had to go to oversea for an extended period, and the closing would have to be done by myself. On a Sunday, Mike was able to find a public notary to process the power of attorney's documents right before my wife boarded the plane.

Mike has been a friend of family for several years now. His knowledge and advice is always appreciated and friendship enjoyed. When we closed the 2012 purchase, we had an escrow set up for a pretty major renovation on the house. Yet because of the schedule conflicts the project was not done even a year later. One day i suddenly realize that the escrow could potentially be released without the project getting finished and i called Mike 11PM to discuss this. Mind you the house was purchased in early 2012, and this was more than a year since then, and Mike had no obligation to do anything at all on this. However in the middle of the night we went through the documents, and put together a plan to push the projects to be done as soon as possible, and Mike got out of his way to coordinate things to make sure they were done correctly and smoothly.

It is very hard to find someone that you could trust and rely upon in real estate business. I think Mike is someone that you actually can, with his integrity, resource, and knowledge of all his stuff.

If you buy a $175,000 house it may cost you $400,000 over the course of a thirty-year mortgage, to me that is a scary proposition. We gave Mike the daunting job of selling our condo in a very flat market. He did a superb job of marketing the property. When the time arose to close the deal there appeared to be an impasse that was certain to destroy the deal between the buyer and ourselves. Mike was able to negotiate a settlement in ¿Solomon like style¿ that was truly fair to all parties. He is a man of great experience but more importantly he is a man of great integrity! It was just one year latter my wife and I decided to purchase a new home. We wanted new construction and we wanted to return to Chester County. Needless to say Mike was the first person we called.
